Medical Aid for Palestinians – A Promise

This urgent appeal features Dr Khaled Dawas, a specialist surgeon who works in the UK and volunteers for Medical Aid for Palestinians in Gaza, Lebanon and beyond, to support some of the world’s most at-risk communities. The ad features a series of pieces-to-camera featuring Dr Dawas, intercut with heartbreaking footage of the devastation in Gaza alongside inspiring footage of the incredible efforts by MAP to continue providing medical aid in the most testing of circumstances. The changing political landscape meant numerous script changes throughout the production and the extremely dangerous situation in Gaza meant we weren’t able to film there as first planned. The pieces-to-camera were shot with Dr Dawas in London and the Gaza footage was a combination of archive provided to us by the charity and stock library footage.
