British Red Cross – The Symbol

We loved working alongside the creative agency, Consider, for the first time to make this legacy advert for British Red Cross.

The advert asks people to consider leaving a gift in their will to the charity. This form of fundraising provides a vital source of income for British Red Cross. This amazing charity has been going for an incredible 150 years and their aim is to help anyone, anywhere in the UK and around the world, to get the support they need if crisis strikes. Their work during the Coronavirus pandemic is more vital than ever.

The pieces-to-camera were filmed during tricky, socially-distanced times so keeping the actor, crew and client safe during the shoot required careful planning and lots of hand-sanitiser and face masks!

Because the advert aims to celebrate the historic work of British Red Cross, it makes use of significant archive material. Some of it only available as stills or low-res quality footage, so one of the main challenges was how to bring this material to life and make it engaging to the viewer.

We really hope that this advert will be successful in helping to bring in vital funds for this great charity.
