This was the first advert we made for US TV and it was an eye-opening experience. Going through the rushes was a heartbreaking process as we watched hours of brutal footage of Orangutans’s being captured or killed and their habitats being decimated (mainly because of an insatiable demand for palm oil). However knowing that there are organisations like International Animal Rescue out there fighting to protect this critically-endangered species provides hope that if enough people stand up and take action then the incredible Orangutan can still be saved. Hopefully our advert can go a small way towards helping achieve this goal.
