War Child – We Are Wassailers 2023

We had the privilege of working on two films for War Child Wassail 2023, the charity’s biennial flagship fundraising event. This special evening has been raising essential funds for children in conflict zones since 2014. The Friday’s Child team were delighted to get our teeth stuck into slightly longer-form content as part of this project. 

The We Are Wassailers film was screened towards the beginning of the event to help focus invitees’ minds on the work of the charity and the real reason they were all gathered. It was important to keep the live experience in mind when crafting the film. We wanted to achieve an inspirational call-to-arms for the people in the room. The track, Strong, by London Grammar provided the perfect rousing musical accompaniment to the imagery.
